I need to speak with other teachers whose rights have been violated and who have suffered health issues , in addition to loseing their careers.
I would like to persue a legal avenue.
I have been trying for a few years to communicate here but I get no leads. The board seems dormant.
Is there anyone in New York that can advise me I need a consultation with someone who had been through the gauntlet and has had some success in fighting back.
I have retained an employment attorney. I had to send lots of emails out to law offices to find one willing to talk to me, but I finally did about 2 1/2 years ago. He began litigation, but it will probably not end until next year! Try emailing as many law offices as you can in the city where you live and see if an attorney replies. Good luck. readkitty
If the OP has been trying for a "few years," chances are this person is up the creek because of the statute of limitations. I am trying to find an attorney who will take my termination case provided I can go on contingency. I have no money to fight my district.
