A Letter to Oprah Winfrey: Is Oprah a Victim, Too?

Attached is a letter written by one of many teachers, Britton Gildersleeve, wondering why we, teachers, are not in the equation of solving our schools' problems. NAPTA knows why: White Chalk Crime.

Those vested in maintaining this ruthless agenda of stealing our schools from parents, teachers and last but not least, children, are focused on making sure no one allows real teachers to speak. Teachers groomed to go along with White Chalk Crime, with the help of the unions, are the only voices White Chalk Criminals support. Thus, they are the only voices publicly heard. And those fearful teachers know better than to speak of the treacherous policies causing harm to children in the same way children preyed upon by sexual molesters know better than to speak about their predators. Both have come to believe that no one will believe them.

Oprah so gets sexual molestation and warns all of us about grooming, but unfortunately she has yet to find out that a very similar process is hiding the truth about our schools from the caring public. Those leading our schools are either committing White Chalk Crime themselves, or are clueless about it and are thus unable to deliver school reform. Consequently, believing that those in charge care about our children and their education is to believe a fairy tale.

As we watch these "reformers" continue to choose ineffective paths (such as did former Washington, DC, Superintendent Michelle Rhee), we can only wonder why. Did she chose her path as a horse and pony show to make us think she wanted reform, or is she in fact clueless about White Chalk Crime and also being used by those wanting to pretend reform is taking place? Is she a participant in or a victim of White Chalk Crime?

Following the letter, you will see that an author of a book about how teachers are being ignored responded to Gildersleeve. He pointed out that he sent his book to so many pundits and leaders, including Oprah, and has yet to receive a reply. There are many NAPTA members who have done the same; they too received either no response, or signs that this truth was unwanted. Yet, we cannot give up.

Oprah will not be able to rest in peace after her brilliant career if during her reign of social awareness she has overlooked White Chalk Crime. However, we have faith that once she learns about it, she will not allow it to continue to devastate our culture; the institutionalized child abuse via our schools takes child abuse to even darker places than we thought humanly possible. Oprah may have produced a show supporting White Chalk Criminals, but rather than reflect on who Oprah is, that show reflects on how deeply hidden White Chalk Crime is.

Unfortunately, we have now seen how even Oprah can unsuspectingly fall victim to White Chalk Criminals. White Chalk Criminals are masters at their game. NAPTA
