CA TEACHERS ARE NOT being Properly RepresentedNot many teachers have the courage to lead like this California teacher below. Yet, if most teachers recoil in fear, even her spirit will be crushed. We have seen this regularly over the eight years we have organized to end White Chalk Crime and the teacher abuse that forms its core. White Chalk Criminals rely on their skill at inducing fear and keeping teachers paralyzed; teachers thus become more willing to be complicit in crimes against the community and children, then face the psychological assault that individual teachers regularly face. Until teachers find the strength to unite OR parents get what is going on and unite with teachers, our schools will continue to be institutionalized child abuse. This valiant teacher makes the path for speaking out easy. Have teachers reached the point where they will fight for what they know is right? We hope so. NAPTA

If you feel UTLA has failed to honor its duty to you please file a complaint immediately with the following agency--it can and will take action; and take note we do NOT have to remain with an ineffective union nor do we need to tolerate the ongoing abuse of district administrators and officials who wantonly violate our most basic human rights!
We can seek legal counsel and hire law firms to represent us instead--as things are presently, we are being denied contractual rights that include due process, proper votes, contractual concessions. protection from abusive administrators like Mr (or is it Dr.? his credential is just recently clear despite years of terrorist tactics at BHS)Robert J. Lopez, Joseph Llameass (not credentialed for his AP position when hired) and Dr. Windy Warren (who failed to protect students from an abusive teacher and committed perjury in an official hearing) as well officials like Mr. Michael Romero and Ms. Linda del Cuedo who conceal and enable the mistreatment of teachers apparently with our union's approval and aid.
My only hearing to date was a grievance arbitration that put ME on trial rather than the violations of protocol the district is clearly guilty of in a case of whistle blower being YET AGAIN harassed and slandered by collusion of authority. I have more than enough evidence to expose these lawless antics and fully intend to, but my victory means nothing unless my colleagues and students are adequately represented while the public is made aware of these CRIMINAL antics. As it is accusations against me do not meet the requirements for housing, which is not to exceed 120 days. I have been held well over a year without any hearing and consistently denied access to my belongings, due process and the most elemental employee rights. My paycheck has been wantonly plundered, my name and reputation have been muddied and my credential has been illegally held hostage to shut me up. THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN I will live on skid row before I become complicit with crimes against the community, its children or my colleagues. I can only hope my courage is contagious and the teachers and staff at LAUSD recognize the desperate situation we are in will not improve unless we become proactive and work outside this dysfunctional system!
Please note Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) is coming up. Acquaint yourself with it as well as California Education Codes, PERB and other resources that can change the course of our profession and perhaps history! Pass this information on and act now; fear is the enemy.
We need to unify as professionals and ask why area reps are earning outrageous incomes while coming up with unacceptable concessions to the bloated excess of the educrats' incompetence and corruption!
