JILL BIDEN KNOWS ABOUT WHITE CHALK CRIME!
In the summer of 2008, I contacted Dr. Jill Biden, dedicated teacher and Vice President Joe Biden's wife, via email to alert her to an October 2008 teachers' march in Washington, DC, asking that someone from the Obama campaign attend and learn about White Chalk Crime and how it was the real reason our schools are failing. She replied letting me know that she would pass the information on to the appropriate parties.
After the march, I once again emailed Jill Biden to express my dismay that no one from the Obama campaign had attended. I sent her this link endteacherabuse.org/epic.html. describing the dismal yet telling outcome of that march, She replied again, stating that times were hectic and that they might address this when things slow down. After that, she left her university position and I no longer had her email address. I wondered if that meant the end to this important dialogue.
Yesterday, a little glimmer of hope reminded me that amidst the greed that has overwhelmed our nation, there remains someone in power with the ideals for which NAPTA members continue to fight.
Attached is a copy of a letter I received on June 9, 2009, from the Office of the Vice President, signed by Jill Biden. Perhaps the wheels of change are beginning to roll, although slowly. Only time will tell. However, knowing that those in the highest office of this government know about White Chalk Crime and teacher abuse, the glue that holds White Chalk Crime together, is an important beginning. This means that investigations will follow soon since White Chalk Crime is incompatible with a democracy.
If you haven't read about the march you must; it reveals exactly why nothing can or will change in education now that bullying has replaced the rule of law. We all know that any profession that has "professionals" in hiding to avoid retaliation is no longer a profession. Teachers are the lifeblood of education; White Chalk Crime with its clever tactic of teacher abuse operates like a vampire, sucking education dry. We need our government to hear us or fixing our schools and protecting our children is a lost cause.
(Speaking of lost causes, watch the movie Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, to see a duplicate of the graft and lawlessness we experienced in education. In the movie, Jimmy Stewart was able to filibuster until the truth managed to get past the political manipulators that were using government for their own power and perks, by breaking down one of the perpetrators with shame. This movie provides a scaffold of understanding as to what is going on in education behind everyone's back, a process that hides behind its "unbelievability" while its network of organized, bipartisan accomplices ranging from the unions to the business "reformers" and to all who stand to gain by the status quo use tax monies to keep us buried in propaganda!) With education - the foundation of our democracy - a fraud, nothing can or will change in any lasting way. I continue on with hope that our time is soon and that the truth finally guides decision making so that good leaders who believe in service will replace those who have chosen vice. For this to happen, NAPTA members must have a voice.
Dedicated to the children I remain,
Karen Horwitz
